- A Progressive Relaxation Technique

This is a complementary session for members of Hamblin Trust but donations to the Centre would be greatly appreciated
This is an invitation to join a Masterclass with Barbara Hart, who is trained in Mindfulness and Creative Visualisation. She will guide you through this progressive relaxation technique, enabling you to tune in to where your body is holding stress and anxiety and letting this go, and finding an inner calm.
This technique is particularly useful at this time as one of the body’s reactions to fear and anxiety is muscle tension which can lead to feeling exhausted, both physically and emotionally.
With continued practice, this technique commonly helps improve sleep, reduce levels of anxiety, and gives an increased feeling of wellbeing.
This session will be held on Zoom conferencing with a maximum of 10 participants. Barbara will endeavour to record the relaxation so that you can continue to practice this technique on a daily basis.
As well as being trained in Mindfulness, Barbara is also a Senior Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist and is keen to share her training and experience so that others may build their own inner resources for self-empowerment.
